I wanted to produce something to celebrate Sean Connery being revealed as James Bond to the press and public 50 years ago last month. This effect is relatively straight forward to produce in photoshop, but still manages to create quite an interesting look. If you look closely you can read the titles of all the official Bond movies. From Dr No to Skyfall. I hope you enjoy. Thanks.

To be honest this one probably works better on print and much bigger. You just might be able to make out all the different screen grabs from the Bond movies thats creates a montage, that hopefully reminds you of the gun barrel sequence that started the early Bond movies.

I used photoshop and a lot of patience to create this one. Let me know what you think. Keep checking back for more artwork. Many thanks.

Here is my attempt to create Daniel Craig's likeness with a linocut. I think the media helps create the more dark portrayal similar to his style. Please feel free to leave any comments on any of my artwork, and please come back soon as I am producing more work. Thanks.

I think all the Bond actors have brought something different the the role. I thought Timothy Dalton was excellent. I really enjoyed him taking it seriously and was very refreshing after Roger Moore's more light hearted years. I used Photoshop for this, its not great but I hope you like. Thanks.

I really enjoy creating linocuts. This can be very time consuming but I love how the media forces you to create strong bold marks. This is my attempt to create Sean Connery in this style. Thanks.

With MGM's financial difficulties it has been a long wait for a new Bond movie. I think I speak for all Bond fans in hoping that SKYFALL will be a better movie than the rather disappointing Quantum of Solace. Anyway I wanted to celebrate the news of Bond 23 going into production by making a montage of all the old classic Bond movie posters. I hope you enjoy! Thanks.

I might as well kick this off with the complete piece of artwork that is previewed in my header for my blog. I completed this in 2009 and really enjoyed pulling it all together. I used photoshop to create the illusion of all the Bond actors playing at the casino. I then used illustrator to give it the pop art poster look. I hope you enjoy and look forward to your comments. Thanks.
WELCOME! Well I have finally done it. I have finally plucked up the courage to create a Blog to showcase my 007 Artwork. For years I have been encouraged and inspired (and intimidated lol) by viewing some of the great Bond Artwork already online. Peter Lorenz's Illustrated 007 blog is superb so is Stephane Tron's 007 Free Art Website to name a very few.

As anyone who knows me will testify I am a complete James Bond anorak! I love the movies, books and anything connected with Ian Fleming's work. Anything with Bond on it attracts me like a magnet.

I have enjoyed doing my own 007 artwork for years, pencil, pastels, linocuts and digital art, really for just me to enjoy, but after some thought I decided share this to see what people think of it. So please feel free to make comments and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Many Thanks.
